NEET UG Admission Counsellings

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Under Graduate (NEET UG) is the single qualifying entrance exam held in India for admissions into all medical colleges across India.

NEET UG is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in ‘Pen and Paper’ mode in 13 languages, as a uniform entrance examination for admission to MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BSMS / BUMS / BHMS / BSc (Nursing) and other undergraduate medical courses in approved / recognized Medical / Dental / AYUSH courses in Government, Private, Deemed and Central Universities (including the prestigious institutes like AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC and AFMC).
After results are declared by NTA, their role gets over and Admission process is handled by the respective State DME and DGHS for Central Admission process (CAP rounds).
The role of MCC of DGHS is limited to allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choice, which starts only after receiving the list / data / Information of successful candidates from National Testing Agency i.e. the NEET (UG) examination conducting body.
Application for NEET – UG Counselling is submitted online through Medical Counselling Committee website www.mcc.nic.in for All India Quota seats (AIQ), Central and 100% seats of Deemed Universities.
AIQ seats includes:
- 15% MBBS/ BDS Seats of States
- 100% MBBS/ BDS Seats of BHU AIQ seats includes:
- 100% MBBS Seats of AIIMS across India
- All India Quota of JIPMER (Puducherry/ Karaikal)
- All India Quota seats of AMU/ DU/ VMMC/ ABVIMS
- All India Quota Seats of Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Milia Islamia)
Respective State DME conducts online counselling for 85% government medical and 100% private medical colleges as per eligibility criteria’s prescribed in Counselling brochure of State.
Original documents (along with attested photocopies of documents) for admission required at the time of joining in allotted Medical / Dental College are as mentioned below.
- Allotment Letter issued by MCC / DME
- Admit Cards of Exam issued by NTA.
- Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.
- Proof of Birth Date
- Class 10th Certificate
- Class 10+2 Certificate
- Class 10+2 Marks Sheet
- Eight (8) Passport size photograph same as affixed on NEET application form.
- Proof of identity (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving Licence/ Passport).
- Caste or Category certificates (if applied under reserved category)
- NRI candidates require sponsoship documents, affidavits and necessary proof

NEET PG & INICET Admission Counsellings

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) and Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) are the two main qualifying exams held in India for admissions into MD, MS, DNB, Diploma and CPS courses specialising in various post-graduation branches after MBBS Degree.

NEET PG is conducted every year by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) operating under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) for admissions to all PG Medical seats in government, private, Deemed Universities and Corporate Hospitals having DNB or diploma courses across Nation.

Following documents are needed for the NEET PG Counselling

- Admit card of NEET PG
- Rank Card of NEET PG
- Birth Certificate
- Class X Marksheet
- MBBS Mark Sheets
- MBBS Degree Certificate
- Internship Completion Certificate (ICC)
- Registration certificate (Provisional / Permanent) issued by MCI/ SMC
- A valid photo id proof like Aadhar Card/ Voter ID Card/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Passport)
- Caste / Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
INI CET is conducted twice a year by The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi for admissions to specialisation courses in MD, MS, DM-6 years, MCh-6 years and MDS at the prestigious medical colleges of India viz –

- JIPMER, Puducherry
- NIMHANS, Bengaluru
- PGIMER, Chandigarh
